SBA President Welcomes You To SW & SBA
Robert Glassman
Issue date: 9/1/07 Section: Southwestern Community
On behalf of the Student Bar Association (SBA), I would like to welcome you to Southwestern Law School. We are really excited to begin the year. Our planning committee has spent considerable time making sure that you are offered a variety of social and networking events throughout the year. While academic achievement is your primary goal as a student,
I truly believe that participation in these events and other student activities will greatly enhance your law school experience. I know it did for me as a 1L.
Some of the events to look out for include the Cultural Food Fair in October, the SBA End of the Semester Bash, SBA Bison Week in February, and the Barrister’s Ball also in February (yes, it’s a law school prom).
Once you become settled in at SW, I encourage you to stop by the SBA Office in W235 to meet with me or the other members of the SBA Executive Board. We are more than happy to discuss any issues you may have, ranging from your classes to drink specials at bar reviews! Good luck this semester, and I look forward to seeing you around campus.
Rob Glassman is a 2L and SBA President for 2007-2008.
